Everyday care
Cleaning your jewellery
Gold and platinum
Soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 10 minutes. Gently brush with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
Silver
Silver naturally tarnishes over time. Use a silver polishing cloth for light tarnish. For heavier tarnish, use a dedicated silver dip — never on pieces with pearls or porous gemstones.
Gemstones and diamonds
Most diamonds, sapphires, and rubies tolerate gentle soap-and-water cleaning. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners on emeralds, opals, pearls, turquoise, and treated stones. When in doubt, contact us.
Professional maintenance
We recommend a professional check every 12–18 months — especially for rings worn daily. Our studio can inspect prongs, clasps, and settings to ensure stones remain secure.
